Meet Marshall

Marshall is here to help you navigate Spokane International Airport during the Terminal Renovation and Expansion (TREX) Program.

An aircraft marshaller uses visual signals to communicate with pilots and other ground handling staff as they guide aircraft to and from passenger loading gates. They are a critical component of flight operation safety as pilots are not able to view all of their surroundings in and around the apron and gate areas. For safety and visibility marshallers are outfitted with a reflective safety vest, protective earmuffs and illuminated marshalling wands.

Similarly, because they epitomize safety in the airport environment we are going to use Marshall to help guide passengers through construction during the TREX Program, including the current Concourse C Expansion Project. On your next business trip or vacation getaway, look for them on signage throughout your journey departing from or arriving in Spokane.
